We live in Seattle. We are your neighbors, from coffee in the a.m.'s to pajamas in the p.m.'s. As such, we owe it to everyone to maintain positivity in the development
of this city.
Shortcuts are easy, but can mean disaster for anyone relying on quality, or at least competency. Kuleana makes sure things are complete, done the way they're supposed to be done,
the right way.
We know what to do. We know why, and how. Knowing who, has something to do with it.
When: Of course timing is everything.

It's true. Seattle was blindsided by the crash-boom of 2008. It shook up who financed development, reshaped who was hammering the nails, and redesigned the look and feel of what was being built. It simply took guts to paddle in and point the nose down the face of that wave.
Champions
“ Urban sprawl is for noobs. What we do is more akin to historic art restoration than graffiti on the side of trains. Nothing wrong with graffiti. It just has its place. ”

Now? Well, while we've come to perfect how it's all being done, we have entirely new problems to contend with that require fortitude and nerve that wasn't even on the map before. And yes, things can get worse. Today, builders must be fortune tellers, seen walking the landscape with divining rods when trust in our experience and skill simply isn't enough for people reading unbelievable headlines. You can't blame them, and thank you for your attention to this matter.
“ Seattle has always been doing its thing, driven by forces we rode like waves. Now things are a little more cerebral, less like phenomena and more like structured impedance. ”

Invest with us. Build with us. Keep Seattle fresh with us.
If you have a scenario where you need expertise, experience, and thoroughness, reach out and we can talk. We can guarantee you that nothing will happen if you don't. Well, that's not necessarily true. Something will happen, and we will make it happen, with somebody who did. Your call.
Beats
“ It was insane what was going on in Seattle. I could sit on the sidelines and watch for only so long before jumping in to make a difference in our city. ”

We wish we could say inspiration is the number one raw material when it comes to developing Seattle. But it isn't. Every hoop on each level of development is made up of even more hoops, and when these hoops aren't navigated correctly, everyone loses. Especially the City. Us, you, everybody. So we make it a point to measure and measure again before cutting.
“ All it takes is for one bogie to squeeze through checks and balances and you have pandemonium. Stop the chaos before it starts. Maintain control. Always. ”

“ The guy selling you that car didn't build it. In fact he's pretty far removed from all of that. But you can bet that whatever you're seeing here is as close to the fold as you can get. We built that house. ”
