“  You are anxious because your path leads away from mother and home. But every step and every day lead you back again to the mother... Every path leads homeward, every step is birth, every step is death, every grave is mother.  ”

To look at a map of Seattle, it's easy to assume the land along the entirety of Lake Washington is in the lead where upkeep is concerned. It isn't. Drive the streets of Northern Seward Park and you can see the scrambled footprints of the 60s, the 70s, 80s and 90s, nothing like the consistency of more Northern neighborhoods like Mt. Baker, Madrona, Madison and Laurelhurst. What happened? We don't know for sure, but suffice it to say it is a fertile area screaming for an introduction to and inclusion in today.
